Vocational exploration has worked the past few weeks on greenhouse/plant growing and animal care. They were able to put their skills to good work. Look at their accomplishments.!






This past week, all Child Development 1 classes in the FCS Department held Preschool Days where high school students become the teachers to preschoolers.






A Parent/Project Graduation sponsored Senior Parade will be Friday, May 10, beginning at 7:00 pm. The parade starts at Maple Grove Elementary and travels to WHS via Hamilton St. and Ridgeview Dr. There will be drawings for prizes and other giveaways for participating seniors. Come watch and cheer on the Senior class of 2024!


Senior students interested in painting a ceiling tile to be placed in the hallway, they can be purchased from Mr. Brower for $7. The last day to purchase a tile is Monday, May 13th


Next Tuesday, May 14th will be the last meeting of the French Club for the year. The meeting will be after school in the French room from 2:40 pm to 3:45 pm.


The last Tiger Show of the year is Tuesday, May 14th during Academy. All students must have a ticket to attend the Tiger Show.


Ms. Snell's Teaching Professions class has hosted 13 district employees as guest speakers this year. The students were able to learn about the various careers in our district, along with why our staff chose to be in education. The class wrapped up guests with Mr. Prael today, who reminded students to always do what they love and to always give back to their community.








FBLA will be having a meeting during Academy on Tuesday May 7th.


The WHS Environmental Club participated in the Earth Day at the Farm event. Their upcycling craft booth gave kids an opportunity to make crafts out of material usually thrown away.

WHS Spanish and French Students participated at the annual World Language Competition at UCM organized by Knob Noster High School on April 15th.
We are very happy to announce that our Spanish students received first place overall out of 11 schools participating and French students took second place overall.
Señora Walter, Maestra Reed and Madame Cicon are very proud of their students. Felicidades WHS Spanish students and Félicitations WHS French students on a great accomplishment!

Students participated in Special Olympics track and field in Holden today. Congratulations to all the athletes and big thank you to our unified partners as well.







From April 14th to April 16th, students went to Springfield, Missouri to attend the FBLA State Leadership Conference. Students were able to attend workshops and compete in their respective events.

The Warrensburg FBLA chapter received the Gold Seal Recognition
John Wu received the BAA Contributor Award.
Alyssa Courtaway and Katelyn Helmig received the BAA Leadership Award.
Alyssa Courtaway received the Outstanding Service Award
Alyssa Courtaway and Katelyn Helmig received 10th place in Hospitality and Event Management.
Anston Sorensen received 10th place in Computer Problem Solving and 3rd in Network Design.

The UCM testing location listed on the ACT tickets for the national ACT is incorrect. The tickets read the Humpheys building but the ACT testing location will be in Ward Edwards at UCM tomorrow.
