Students from our Gifted Program competed at Kansas City Invention Convention today. They can now call themselves INVENTORS as this was their opportunity to showcase their work from this year. Students earned a trip to KCIC through prior competitions at the school level and SFCC. Winners and national qualifiers will be announced on Monday. #tigerpride
Congratulations to the 6th, 7th and 8th grade math teams for their success at the CDMA math contest last Saturday at WMS. They worked hard and finished with many top 10 places. Big shout out to the 7th grade team who won 1st place in the grade level competition!
Students competed at SFCC's Innovation Competition for Entrepreneurs today! All students did a great job and Ruth qualified for the finals!
When not presenting, students explored the Collab Lab, practiced virtual welding, participated in construction relays, played esports, survived the cybersecurity escape room, visited the Daum Museum, and toured the campus to learn about their educational offerings.

Our Science Olympiad team competed against 22 teams and over 315 competitors from Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska today at the Pembroke Hill School. The competition was fierce but our kids had a great showing!!

They also used the 7-Step Invention Process to invent solutions to scenario problems. We greatly appreciate staff from the Linda Hall Library bringing this Kansas City Invention Convention experience to us! #tigerpride
The Quest team hosted a 6th grade social on Thursday! Students enjoyed dancing, gym time, bracelet making, a photo booth, and of course, concessions! Funds raised from the event will be utilized for future field trips and team activities. #TigerPride
