Students competed at SFCC's Innovation Competition for Entrepreneurs today! All students did a great job and Ruth qualified for the finals! When not presenting, students explored the Collab Lab, practiced virtual welding, participated in construction relays, played esports, survived the cybersecurity escape room, visited the Daum Museum, and toured the campus to learn about their educational offerings. #tigerpride

Our Gifted Program students learned about innovations, inventions, and ways to protect intellectual property (patents, trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets). They also used the 7-Step Invention Process to invent solutions to scenario problems. We greatly appreciate staff from the Linda Hall Library bringing this Kansas City Invention Convention experience to us! #tigerpride
